“The New World” is a literal translation of Shin Sekai in Japanese. It may seem to be built recently although its 100th birthday was celebrated in 2012. Shin Sekai provides the visitors an exclusive and cross cultural sensation. The whole area was used for an onion plantation however; it developed much for the 5th Japan Exposition and Exhibition in 1903. Due to the great success of the events, it managed to attract more than 5 million visitors in 5 months from all over the Japan land.
